MTV Switch, the environmental action network, challenged South Americans in 2008 to do their part in preventing global warming, pointing to the efforts being made by the most unscrupulous members of society. In “Boss” a woman and her male colleague are humiliated by the boss from hell who, despite his insensitivity, does his bit for the environment. In “Granny” con artists rip off an unsuspecting Granny by posing as tradesmen from her electrical company. Despite their dastardly actions, they keep an eye out for wastage.
